Calvin and Tynesha were college sweethearts and had the opportunity to grow and experience life together, the fact that they still managed to stay together despite all the struggles and life lessons they endured as a young couple is what makes their relationship special. 

The proposal as told by the bride. “Calvin always has something ups his sleeve and this day was nothing short of that. Calvin was a season ticket holder for the Charlotte Hornets. The day before the proposal, he told me that he was unable to sell the tickets for the Charlotte Hornets vs. the Chicago Bulls game and that we had to make a last-minute trip to Charlotte to attend the game to avoid wasting the tickets. I should have known something was up because he knows I am a huge Dwayne Wade fan, and how are you not able to sell one of the hottest tickets of the season??? Fast forward to December 23, 2017, knowing that we had to go to Charlotte for the game, Calvin invited a few friends to make it a fun couple’s trip. Still not thinking too much into it, on to Charlotte we went! During halftime, he arranged a “tour” to show the other couples what it was like to go behind the scenes near the locker rooms where they would get a chance to high-five some of the players as they made their way back to the court, as soon as I walked around the corner… there were Charlotte Hornet cheerleaders holding up a “Tynesha Will You Marry Me” sign, photographers taking pictures, I mean it was crazy. I was shocked, to say the least, it was everything and more!! Till this day I am still in disbelief at how well he managed to pull that off, he scored major points and it was over the top, just like I imagine my proposal would be. 🙂 December 23, 2017, was definitely one of the best days of my LIFE, which is why we decided to get married in the city where it all happened to make it official!!”
