Southern Styled Wedding at Ragland Mansion (Virginia)

This styled shoot stepped back in time for a traditional, intimate southern-style wedding. The Ragland Mansion located in Petersburg Virginia was the venue for this southern style shoot. The Ragland is filled with Southern elegance and charm. Every room has a theme and a story to tell. Built in 1857, the Ragland Mansion survived the siege of Petersburg during the civil War. The twin parlors, marble fireplaces and four-story center hall staircase was perfect the setting for this southern style wedding.The groom wore a classic tuxedo suit. The bride wore a strapless beaded wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline. She also wore a vintage crystal headband headpiece that matched the broach on her gold and white 4 tier wedding cake designed by Sweet Gypsy Desert Design.
