Engagement: Latoya & Michael (Chicago)  

“I was driving home from work and was so exhausted because of rush hour traffic. I remember Mike asking me to pick Kyla (my daughter) up from daycare because he had to run to the store. I pulled up to my apartment and for whatever reason, I couldn’t  parallel park that day, so Mike met me outside and had Kyla wait inside the building with him. By the time I got in the building they were both smiling and I had no idea why. So they both walk me up to our apartment and when he opened the door I saw rose petals and lit candles. I remember standing in the middle of my living room and him on one knee giving me this beautiful and thoughtful speech, then asking me “will I marry him?” THEN, he turned to my daughter and made a vow to her & I cried like a Baby!” – Latoya
