Romantic West Chester Proposal (PA)

As told by the photographers: “Ben and Lauren live in an apartment about a block up from the park he would be proposing at. They are currently looking for a house to buy which gave Ben a genius plan. He told Lauren that he passed a house down the street that was for sale and even though they may not be able to afford it, he wanted to just show her at least. As they were taking a walk to this “house” Lauren noticed the park’s gazebo was so gorgeously lit up (she’s a sucker for lights!) and they decided to walk towards it and check it out more and that’s when Ben started telling her how much and why he loves her so much and got down on one knee and proceeded to ask the love of his life to marry him.

This proposal was one of the most beautiful proposals we’ve ever been a part of! I was honestly pretty nervous about how this shoot was going to turn out. Only because it was going to be PITCH dark out, and we couldn’t use any flash since that would ruin the surprise! So the only light we could rely on was the light sources being provided by Ben.

I made sure to tell him that whatever he thought was going to be enough light, DOUBLE that, and let me tell you.. he did a perfect job! We arrived pretty early to Marshall Square Park to get set up (and get ready to hide behind some trees). We were just stunned by all the gorgeous string lights, candles, champagne, blankets and music playing!! Ben seriously went above and beyond to make this the most perfect night to propose to Lauren.”
