Here’s a story to make you cry a little today and also be grateful if you’re fortunate enough to have your parents around to attend and participate in your big day. According to a tear jerking article posted on Essence today, Vieneesa (27) and Douglas Stanton (30) were supposed to have a big wedding in April 2018. However, that all changed when the doctors delivered the heartbreaking news that Vieneese’s father had been given just a few weeks to live. In order to have her father around for her big day, the couple got married at the hospital, so that Vieneese’s father could walk her down the aisle.
