Album Story

This is a couple’s maternity shoot with a classic and fall theme! The client wanted us to do something different and create some magic. She sent us photos for examples and we went outside the box to create her own vision of the maternity shoot. We shot at 3 different locations telling a story throughout the day. We captured so many emotions to show how deeply in love these two are in and how excited it is to be having their first born.

Client Questionnaire

Q1: What prompted you to capture your pregnancy with a photoshoot? How did it make you feel?

A1: As a couple, we decided to capture our pregnancy with a maternity photoshoot for us to remember and have memories of being pregnant with our first child. The photoshoot made us feel amazing. Marcus and his wife took great care of us and captured all of our emotions. The photoshoot was a way for us to be us and to finally relax and enjoy before our little man arrives.

Q2: How far along in your pregnancy were you when you did the shoot?

A2: When we did our photo shoot, I was 35 weeks pregnant.

Q3: How and why did you choose the setting of your maternity photoshoot?

A3: Marcus and his wife selected the various locations according to the vision that I gave to him. I wanted our pictures to be different, out of the norm, classic, and with a fall theme. He truly captured that.

Q4: Did you include other family members in your photoshoot, why or why not?

A4: No, we did not include any other family members in our photoshoot because we wanted it to just be centered around us, mother, father, and our unborn child.

Q5: Do you know the gender of your baby (babies)? If so, did you incorporate this into the shoot?

A5: We are having a baby boy. No we did not incorporate the sex in the maternity shoot.

Q6: What was your favorite picture from the day, and why?

A6: I honestly don’t have a favorite picture from the day because all of them are my favorite. But if I have to choose one, it would definitely be the picture of my husband kissing my belly and my dress flowing in the back. This picture truly captured our love for one another and for our baby boy.
