Intimate Outdoor Wedding (Mississippi)

Courtney and Rome’s were married in May 2017 in Pearl, Mississippi (right outside of Courtney’s hometown of Jackson). They are college sweethearts and met while students at Clark Atlanta and Morehouse College. Rome and Courtney met senior year of college during the final week of school, as both were preparing for graduation. They exchanged contact information and ended up spending the entire summer together. However, their romance didn’t stop there. They both knew it was only a matter of time, and what started as a summer love, followed them into fall and winter months…and continues to this day! 

The couple had an intimate outdoor ceremony surrounded by close family and friends. It’s easy to get down when you’ve planned an outdoor wedding and the forecast unexpectedly calls for rain. However, a little Mississippi rain couldn’t stop Courtney and Rome’s shine.
