Who says you can’t get married during a global pandemic? Well, that is exactly what couples like Alana Gay and Joey Miguel assumed, after learning that they would not be able to have their “dream” wedding, as planned. The couple began planning their 2020 dream wedding shortly after Joey proposed to Alana in August of 2018. They wanted to make sure there was ample time to plan everything to the “T” and were determined to wed on a significant date for them, June 27, 2020. With the onset of the pandemic, they were forced to cancel/postpone all wedding plans. However, in spite of all obstacles, heavens opened up and a few days before their dream day, the gathering ban was lifted, slightly, and in the most intimate of ways, Joey and Alana were wed in a beautiful cathedral amongst immediate family and their best friends. To cap it all, they were surprised with a waterfront reception dinner afterward. Their mini-matrimony was beautiful from the beginning to the end.
