“I’m Dreaming of a Boho Christmas” Styled Shoot (Georgia)

The photographer and her close friend were inspired to create this styled shoot after having a fun conversation about their respective Christmas traditions. They quickly realized that both their moms, who are avid lovers of antiques and sometimes junk, always brought out brightly colored vintage Christmas ornaments each year to decorate their Christmas trees. They admitted that they thought the decorations were “tacky” when growing up. However, now these two decided to create a photo shoot based on these colorful yet Boho vintage pieces.

From there, the idea of “I’m Dreaming of a Boho Christmas” was born. The styled shoot feature many cherished family items. Elements such as the photographer’s great-aunt’s 1930s fur coats, vintage chairs, china plates, as well as ornaments from their moms, can be found amidst the other boho treasures.

The newly married couple in this shoot had dinner for two on the dock with signature cocktails, more twinkle lights, a cake for two, and of course, Christmas ornaments.
