Fun Engagement Session (Dallas, TX)
This beautiful couple met at Texas A&M University. Dominique and Morquise both currently live in Houston, but because Dominique is from Dallas they decided to do their wedding in the DFW area. They originally planned their engagement session at Grapevine Botanical Garden and Old Town during the winter holiday. Unfortunately, it’s hard to predict the weather in Texas during this time of the year! One week it was above 70F, and then it dropped to 30F! However, it didn’t scare Dominique and Morquise. They just choose a different spot since nature did not look as appealing, due to the weather. Nevertheless, Dominique still showed up in a pretty dress and heels. Morquise was keeping her warm with his heart, smiles, and hugs.
How he proposed as told by Dominique: On the afternoon of June 3, 2017, he took me to Hermann Park for what I thought was a simple walk in the park before a dinner date. We came upon a beautiful picnic spread, which I thought was someone else’s. As I pointed it out to him because I thought it was so sweet, he announced that the picnic was for us. I was so excited that I didn’t foresee him kneeling on one knee to propose, followed by our closest friends jumping from behind trees to surprise me. It was so romantic and sweet.
