Elegant San Francisco City Hall Wedding (California)
The bride and groom both work in college athletics; the bride in the Athletics Department at Duke University and the groom, an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Florida State University. The couple was introduced by a mutual friend who asked the bride if she was ready to meet her husband. Jocelyn wasn’t interested, so she thought, but Dennis was introduced to her and he was as she says….. “really handsome.”
Armani, their mutual friend, persisted and introduced Jocelyn and Dennis after Florida State upset Duke in a last minute shot at the buzzer. A casual conversation, followed by a phone call later that evening led to a date the next week, and the next and the next. After five years of dates, Dennis popped the question in elaborate Mission Impossible Style. Before she even said yes, Jocelyn knew that San Francisco City Hall was the place for them to get married.
The wedding was truly a destination event, filled with friends and family from all over the United States. The couple opted to not have any attendants for their wedding but made sure their closest friends played a special part in their big day. From the sister circle breakfast with the bride’s closest friends, the trolley ride to City Hall for the ceremony and the classic jazz club reception at the infamous 1300 Filmore in the City’s historic Jazz District, the day was filled with love, laughter and joy.
After the reception and live performances from Frank Luke and Omega Ray, we chartered all 70 guests to the beautiful Napa Valley and wrapped up the weekend visiting three amazing wineries; Domaine Chandon, Flora Springs and Artesa.
