Dorado Royale Beach Wedding (Mexico)

As told by Quetzal Wedding Photo: Dorado Royale Beach Wedding in Puerto Morelos brings two cultures together in a third country! Andrei is Ukrainian, and the Luanyi is Chinese, and they chose to declare their love for one another on the beach in Mexico. The wedding was unique and intimate.

Andrei works as a software engineer, and Luanyi is a chemist. They are both super busy with their work, but they love to make time for each other. They enjoy biking in their free time as well as exploring new foods and lands.

Their wedding colors were plum, green, blush, and gold. Since the groom is Ukrainian, the groom and groomsmen all wore a traditional Ukrainian shirt during the wedding. The bride also wore a large flower crown along with her Maggie Sottero gown in the wedding colors as a Ukrainian wedding tradition.

Since Andrei is Ukrainian and the Luanyi is Chinese, they opted to purchase a Ukrainian-style wedding band for the Andrei and a Chinese-style wedding band for the Luanyi. The engagement ring is the “American” style to signal two different individuals of two different nationalities and cultures coming together and falling in love in the US.
