Colorful Rainbow Maternity Shoot (D.C.)
On June 11, 2015, Courtney and Mike celebrated 10 years of marriage. Pregnant with twin girls and looking forward to what was in store for the rest of the year and their life, little did they know that on June 12, 2015, they would deliver twin girls at 23 weeks and their life would change forever. Ryan and Morgan, affectionately nicknamed, “Tinymights” because of how hard they fought to live outside of the womb at just 1lb each, survived for 3 weeks and have changed the lives for so many.
Almost three years later, lots of prayers and tears, and 2 miscarriages later, Courtney and Mike are over the moon excited as they prepare to welcome their rainbow baby to their family in less than 30 days. The rainbow background was the perfect “prop” for this shoot. This couple knew from the beginning they wanted to include rainbow elements as this was something very personal to them.
