Colorful Beach Sunset Proposal (Hampton, VA)

As told by Fresh Look Photography:  Rafael set up a surprise proposal for his girlfriend Jalika (who goes by Jay). He planned a day of events for them, and ended the night on Buckroe Beach by the fishing pier.
Little did Jay know that he had contacted me in advance to come and secretly take pictures of the special moment.
When Rafael dropped down to one knee, you could tell that Jay was completely unprepared. And when she said yes, her family – who were also in on the surprise – came out and hugs were exchanged all around.

Then we got the chance to take some romantic pictures of just the two of them as the sun was setting, and turning the sky pink, purple and blue.
