High Museum of Art Engagement Session (Atlanta, GA)

Sherman and Kristin met on E – Harmony about 4 years ago. Kristin was living in Augusta, GA and Sherman was in Atlanta. Their first date was at the restaurant Bonefish in Augusta on a Sunday. Kristin was immediately impressed by Sherman’s drive, his love for family and his intelligence.They have been together since June 8, 2014

Sherman proposed Jan 22, 2017 at the GA Dome during second quarter of the Falcons final game! An entire entourage of people, including a police officer, walked down the stairs to where they were sitting and began to call out for Kristin. Initially, she didn’t want to answer because there was a cop there. However, a woman made contact with her and asked whether her name was “Kristin Oates”? The woman handed Kristin an envelope and told her to read it. Kristin opened it and at the moment Sherman got down on his knee and asked for her hand in marriage.
