Afro-Chic Styled Wedding (Georgia)

The “Afro-Chic Styled Shoot” took place on July 15, 2017 and was sponsored by The Queen Photographers of Georgia, an organization that inspires women of color photographers by focusing on community and sisterhood. The mission was to inspire brides of color to continue to be “magical” and unashamed of their natural beauty. To ensure that this statement came to life, it was crucial that all elements, especially hair and makeup aligned specifically to this vision. The color palette was filled with whimsical blush pinks and deep maroons while the decor included elements of southern charm and antique design. The event took place in Gainesville, GA at a natural light studio that was once an Old Cotton Mill.
