Urban Downtown Indianapolis Engagement (Indiana)
As told by Jasmine Norris Photography: Meet the lovely Diva and Michael! These two have been together close to 7 years now! They first met while they were both attending Purdue University and they’ve been together ever since! After graduation, they moved to Indy and call it home. In August, Diva and Michael were on a trip to New Orleans. While they were out eating dinner in a cute restaurant on Bourbon Street, Michael proposed! Diva, of course, said yes!
Diva and Michael are tying the knot in September at the Indiana Historical Society. They are planning on having an outdoor ceremony by the canal and then they will be holding their reception in the reception hall. For their wedding, they are planning on having a traditional and fun wedding that is filled with the old Hollywood glamour and romance style. With a color palette of gold, white, black, and deep red it certainly fits the bill! They are also tying in where they met, Purdue, and where they got engaged, New Orleans. They are turning the bar into Harry’s Chocolate Shop which is one of the main bars at Purdue University and they will be playing some New Orleans Jazz throughout their wedding as well. It’s going to be spectacular!
Since they now call Indianapolis home, we met up at White River State Park for their engagement session. They wanted to include in a bit of the Indianapolis Skyline and then just use the prettiness of the park as their backdrop and it worked out perfectly!
